Kathryn “Katy” Weingarten

Ms. Weingarten graduated from California Lutheran University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice, a B.A. in Political Science, and a minor in English. Ms. Weingarten then worked at the Superior Court of California, County of Yolo, as a Judicial Administration Fellow, sparking her interest in practicing law. After concluding her fellowship, she attended and graduated from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. During law school, Ms. Weingarten focused heavily on public service, while holding internships with the Public Defender’s Office in San Diego, California Western Community Law Project, and Hulett, Harper, Stewart, LLP, a civil litigation firm. Ms. Weingarten handles all aspects of the Workers’ Compensation case. She has completed many trials to decision including AOE/COE trials and case in chief trials. Ms. Weingarten filed and settled numerous 132(a) petitions. Ms. Weingarten has done hundreds of depositions and settled a multitude of six figure cases. Ms. Weingarten was a member of the Great Britain National Softball team and won British Olympic Athlete of the Year in Softball in 2007. Ms. Weingarten is licensed to practice law in the State of California and is an active member of the California Applicant Attorneys Association (CAAA.org)
