AttorneyMinas Nordanyan has been helping injured clients in some capacity since 2007. He is a licensed attorney in the States of California & Nevada and licensed to practice before the Courts of the State of California & Nevada and the Federal Court, Central District.
Mr. Nordanyan graduated from UCLA and obtained his juris doctorate from Loyola Marymount Law School, Los Angeles. Mr. Nordanyan’s studies included the privilege to serve a judicial externship with the Federal Bankruptcy Court, Woodland Hills. Upon passing the bar Mr. Nordanyan has been actively involved in the day to day operation of the practice. Mr. Nordanyan is a member of the California Applicants’ Attorneys Association.
Among his personal achievements, Mr. Nordanyan was 3-time national chess champion in his age division. He has achieved the title of National Chess Master from the United States Chess Federation. The chess background allows him to traverse complicated litigation with relative ease.
Grayr "Harry" Berberyan
AttorneyMr. Berberyan is a tireless advocate for workers’ rights with a wide range of experience in many areas of law. Mr. Berberyan graduated from University of California – Los Angeles in 2003 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. He graduated from Southwestern University School of Law in 2007. Immediately after law school, Mr. Berberyan worked as an attorney for Loyola Law School’s Disability Rights Legal Center helping children with disabilities obtain individualized education plans specifically tailored to their needs. Mr. Berberyan also volunteered with the Hardcore Gangs Unit of the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Unit.
Mr. Berberyan transitioned into private practice as a Senior Associate Attorney for the law firm of Fuentes & McNally, LLP specializing in public entity defense. He gained extensive experience in litigation in all jurisdictions including, state and federal courts, criminal and civil cases, appellate review and administrative hearings. His experience included extensive law and motion practice, oral advocacy, propounding and responding to discovery and settlement negotiations. Mr. Berberyan has argued over one thousand motions in front of judges in Southern California.
Mr. Berberyan is very passionate about his advocacy for the rights of workers in California. He represents employees in all facets of the litigation process including providing ongoing consultation, defending clients at depositions, drafting dispositive motions, appearing at hearings at the Workers Compensation Appeals Boards in Southern California and taking cases to trial.
In his spare time, Mr. Berberyan loves spending time with his wife and two boys. He enjoys taking walks, watching movies and going fishing.
Kathryn "Katy" Weingarten (Wilkins)
AttorneyMs. Weingarten graduated from California Lutheran University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice, a B.A. in Political Science, and a minor in English. Ms. Weingarten then worked at the Superior Court of California, County of Yolo, as a Judicial Administration Fellow, sparking her interest in practicing law. After concluding her fellowship, she attended and graduated from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. During law school, Ms. Weingarten focused heavily on public service, while holding internships with the Public Defender’s Office in San Diego, California Western Community Law Project, and Hulett, Harper, Stewart, LLP, a civil litigation firm.
Ms. Weingarten handles all aspects of the Workers’ Compensation case. She has completed many trials to decision including AOE/COE trials and case in chief trials. Ms. Weingarten filed and settled numerous 132(a) petitions. Ms. Weingarten has done hundreds of depositions and settled a multitude of six figure cases.
Ms. Weingarten was a member of the Great Britain National Softball team and won British Olympic Athlete of the Year in Softball in 2007.
Ms. Weingarten is licensed to practice law in the State of California and is an active member of the California Applicant Attorneys Association (CAAA.org)
Sam Aleksandryan earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Law from California State University, Northridge in 2014. Committed to immersing himself in his legal studies for the next three years, he decided to break from his roots in Los Angeles and move to San Diego to attend the University Of San Diego School Of Law.
During law school, Mr. Aleksandryan’s tenacious work ethic allowed him to gain experience in various fields of legal practice while earning a Business and Corporate Law Concentration. He was the first student to be permitted to accept concurrent externships with the San Diego Public Defender’s Office and the United States Postal Service’s Pacific Area Law Office. In addition, he assisted business owners in the community as a legal intern for the University of San Diego Entrepreneurship Clinic and helped self-represented litigants at the Superior Court of California, County of San Diego, Office of Family Law Facilitator.
In 2017, Mr. Aleksandryan graduated from USD and was admitted to the State Bar of California later that same year. Mr. Aleksandryan’s legal experience in different areas of law has provided him with a strong foundation to be a zealous advocate for injured victims and to seek justice for those who do not have a voice.
In his spare time, Mr. Aleksandryan enjoys spending time with his family doing BBQ and watching sports.
Mr. Berberyan earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge. Subsequently, he graduated from Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California. As a licensed attorney in the State of California, he diligently represents injured workers and assists them with their Workers’ Compensation claims.
Before law school, Mr. Berberyan worked at the Los Angeles Department of Consumer Affairs, where he helped consumers understand and fight for their rights. Helping others in need gave him a sense of satisfaction and sparked his interest in making a career out of it. Thereafter, he has worked in various areas of the law including civil litigation, criminal defense, and personal injury.
In his personal life, Mr. Berberyan enjoys playing soccer, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. He has competed and achieved success in many soccer tournaments all throughout California with his club team.
David Abrahamian specializes in civil litigation. Mr. Abrahamian received his undergraduate degree at UCLA and his juris doctorate from USC Gould School of Law. Before Nordanyan Law, Mr. Abrahamian served as a judicial extern with Judge Stephen Reinhardt in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and as a summer clerk for the municipal law firm Aleshire & Wynder.
Mr. Abrahamian has also worked for Congress and various political campaigns, including six years as a Legislative Correspondent for Senator Barbara Boxer.
